Friendly staff, delicious food, very nice, spacious, clean rooms

We went to eat here quite spontaneously. The ambience is very appealing. But what we liked best was that the individual requests were catered for here. Wiener Kinderschnitzel without it being on the menu. Delicious fried potatoes instead of bread. And the quality is really great ...

We have been spending our hiking holiday in beautiful Franconian Switzerland with the Jöbstel family for several years. We like the combination of hotel / guesthouse and inn / restaurant. The rooms are beautiful, we look forward to breakfast every morning and on top of that, Mr Jöbstel cooks excellent and varied. Unfortunately, not many cook like this anymore ... The staff is always friendly, even if everyone wants to be served at the same time. We hope the Jöbstel family and their team will continue like this for a long time and wish them all the best. We will be back definitely.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed. At first I didn't feel comfortable at all because a drunk kept behaving inappropriately and didn't have to leave the pub immediately. Overall the food tasted good, but I had a long hair in my salad .. and the paprika schnitzel was cold after 5 minutes. It was also very cold in the inn. Was the first & last time I was here.

Very nice country hotel in a great location! The rooms are big and very clean. The "Schmuckkästla" in particular is a real eye-catcher! The quality of the food in the integrated restaurant stands out clearly from the surroundings in the region: the dishes are very tasty, unusual and everything is homemade. The prices remain very fair. Always worth a visit!

I went there because of the good reviews and am a little disappointed. The inn is beautiful, you can sit outside super nice. However, I am disappointed with the service and hospitality. Maybe I was also unlucky, I wanted to sit outside, the boss didn't go, but after 5 minutes 3 tables were free, after 20 minutes more than 5. Well, since only 2 conditions were there, you wait a little longer. The selection didn't convince me, I was looking forward to something regional. One more point on the subject of hospitality: my battery was almost empty, I kindly asked if I could charge my cell phone, then I heard "Exceptionally" from the kitchen. It's a shame, that shouldn't be an issue today. Last but not least, I would also like to go into the service: 2 conditions are simply too few, especially if one of the two is still being learned. A shame, nice inn, the food is ok, service could be improved and hospitality should be improved.

Went here for dinner with my family today. All dishes were very tasty. We were served very friendly and attentive. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Was there yesterday with my family in the Cafe and Restaurant Jöbstel and today with friends. Delicious cake and excellent food. The married couple Jöbstel were very, very friendly, opened us even though we were already there at 2.30 p.m. (open from 3 p.m.). In the mandarin and sour cream cake and in the pepper sirloin you want to "lie down", they are so delicious. We will be back !!!

We are coming to Waischenfeld for many, many years for fishing. This is by far the best place to eat in town. Reliable, consistent, fresh ingredients, friendly service. More than well deserved five stars.

House in a prominent location in Waischenfeld with parking and beautiful views. The service proves to be friendly and also the hotel restaurant has bright premises. The food is okay so far and is prepared according to the basics of good food (homemade and no finished sauce, etc.) The prices are a bit higher. To complain would be that e.g. On the toilet the towel dispenser was empty, that must count in such a home to an absolute no go.

A very nice clean and family-run country hotel. Very friendly owner. The boss himself is in the kitchen. As a trained chef, the dishes are great. Also very good fish dishes.
